College Counseling

At The Emery/Weiner School, college counseling isn’t just about the applications and college tours, it’s about discovering who you are, what you’re looking for, and where you want to go. Our College Counseling program is a dynamic and energetic, four-year journey that spotlights student’s ambitions and aspirations, then confidently navigates the road to college.

We start by breaking down the college process into clear, manageable steps with realistic timelines to create a game plan. Grade-level sessions tackle timely topics, group workshops keep everyone in the know, and one-on-one meetings make sure each student gets personalized guidance tailored to their unique goals.

College Counselors are more than advisors; they’re your advocates. They bring colleges to campus, build real connections with admissions officers, and present each student in the strongest possible light.

In the end, it’s not about the “best” college with the “best name;” instead, it’s about the right college with the right fit. A place where each student can grow, thrive, and become the best version of themselves. Through reflection, research, and support, students take the lead in their college search and find a path that truly fits.
